Guide

How to read this catalogue

This catalogue explains how the workshop cards fit together. It is intended to help commissioners and clients select the right intervention without treating the collection as a flat list of interchangeable courses.

The ecosystem is organised using four questions:

  1. How deeply will participants work? — level
  2. Where will they apply the learning? — pathway
  3. Who needs the capability? — audience
  4. What kind of intervention is being purchased? — product type

The four dimensions

  • Levelhow deeply participants work. 101 Understand introduces the subject; 201 Apply turns understanding into practice; 301 Implement and govern is for teams who already have the policy and need it to hold up in real decisions. Level is complexity, not seniority.
  • Pathwaywhere the learning is applied. People and workplace covers how your organisation treats and supports trans people at work; Services, facilities and public functions covers how you deliver services and run facilities that trans people use; Personal and intimate care is a specialist pathway kept out of the general catalogue; Cross-pathway covers workshops that span more than one of these.
  • Audiencewho needs the capability. Boards; HR & People; Line managers; Legal & Risk; or All colleagues, for whole-workforce courses such as Empowering Effective Trans Allies.
  • Product typewhat the buyer is purchasing. A Foundation workshop, an Applied workshop, a Decision lab, a Focused module, a Specialist workshop, or an Implementation programme.

Level tells the buyer how deep. Pathway tells them where it applies. Audience tells them who should attend. Product type tells them what they are buying.

Core, specialist and implementation programmes

  • Core programmes are the building blocks every organisation can use — the foundation and applied workshops, decision labs and focused modules.
  • Specialist programmes sit on the Personal and intimate care pathway and are commissioned separately, rather than mixed into the general catalogue.
  • Implementation programmes are sustained engagements that embed practice across a team or function over time, rather than a single session.

Map

Pathway × level map

Every workshop mapped against its pathway and level. A cell lists the courses that sit at that point; an em dash means nothing is mapped there yet.

Progression

The intended progression

Within each pathway the catalogue moves from understanding the subject, through applying it, to implementing and governing it. This is the recommended flow per pathway — follow it to build capability in depth rather than pick a single level.

Short formats

Short-format catalogue

Three lighter-touch delivery propositions — Lunch and Learns, Fireside Chats and Board Briefings — open a conversation, build perspective or brief a board. Each is a starting point into the full ecosystem, not a replacement for role-specific training, and each recommends a next workshop or programme.

Lunch and Learn

Accessible awareness, reflection and practical prompts — typically 45–60 minutes. Does not replace role-specific training or applied practice.

Fireside Chat

Facilitated perspective, dialogue and organisational challenge — typically 60–75 minutes. Not an unmoderated debate or case-determination process.

Board Briefing

Strategic orientation, governance questions and assurance — typically 60–90 minutes. Not legal advice, an audit opinion or an implementation programme.

How short formats feed the pathways

Each short format is a starting point that routes into the full workshop ecosystem. The table shows, for every short format, the recommended next workshops it opens onto and the pathway it feeds.
