Ask Quinn

You have a specific question — what the guidance actually requires, whether a case says what somebody claims it says, how a rule applies to your situation. A general chatbot will answer it confidently either way, and you will have no way of telling which kind of answer you got.

What it does. Quinn is the toolkit's assistant, and it answers from the curated corpus rather than the open internet. Starter chips offer questions to begin with — "What does the EHRC guidance actually require?" is one — and you can ask anything in your own words. Every answer carries its sources, so you can read what it is standing on rather than taking it on trust, and thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback sits under each one. Where the knowledge base does not support an answer, Quinn says so instead of inventing one, which is the behaviour that makes the rest of it worth relying on.

What you get. A sourced answer you can follow up and cite, and an honest boundary at the edge of the evidence. It is grounded guidance, not legal advice.

Who uses it. Anyone with a question and no appetite for a plausible guess. Governance and EDI leads checking a point of law. Line managers who need to understand something before Monday.
